Scrambled Tofu Bowl

I topped scrambled tofu over a bowl of rice for a meal.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Freshly cooked rice
2 bowls
Tofu
300 g
Thinly sliced pork
70 g~
Carrot
1/2
Green peas, shiitake mushrooms, etc
as much as you prefer
☆Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
☆Mirin
2 tablespoons
☆Sake
2 tablespoons
Egg + mentsuyu
2 + 1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Drain the tofu. Cut pork into bite size pieces, finely julienne the carrots and other vegetables.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Saute the pork, carrots and the other vegetables.
3. Mash the tofu with your hands and saute.
4. Add the ☆ seasonings and simmer. Reduce the liquid.
5. Whisk the eggs and mentsuyu.
6. Pour in the egg mixture and mix briskly. Top over the warm rice.
7. Or you could top the egg mixture from the Step 5 over the warm rice and add the tofu from Step 4.
8. Top with whatever vegetables you prefer.
9. I tried with cabbage and it was good.
