Udon Noodle Salad

Canned tuna and udon noodles are transformed into a delicious salad with a special sauce.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Udon noodles (frozen)
1 packet
Canned tuna
1/2 can
as needed
3 tablespoons
3 tablespoons
☆Ground sesame seeds
1 tablespoon
Bonito flakes (large flakes)
to taste


1. Boil the udon noodles briefly in hot water. Drain and rinse in cold water, and drain into a colander.
2. Wash and rip up the lettuce. Dry the leaves. Drain the canned tuna.
3. Mix the ☆ sauce ingredients together. If you add the mentsuyu in the middle of the mayonnaise little by little, it won't separate.
4. Arrange the lettuce leaves, udon noodles and tuna on a plate in that order. Pour the sauce over it and top with some bonito flakes.

The udon salad I had at a casual restaurant chain was delicious, so I recreated the dish.
