Chicken drumettes - the first (thickest) joint of a chicken wing
2 heaping tablespoons
Place all of the ingredients into a pan and simmer on medium heat.
Adjust the heat occasionally so that it doesn't burn. Simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
Once the liquid boils down, turn over the drumettes to glaze.
Done! They are also yummy in a bento.
Story Behind this Recipe
This recipe really helps out when I'm really busy. Usually it's made with soy sauce and rice vinegar, but using ponzu makes it even quicker!
This recipe is so easy since all you have to do is add the ingredients to a pan and simmer it I always have chicken drumettes stored in the freezer, so on days when I come home late from work and there's nothing to eat, I make this a lot. Since ponzu is used, it's also good for your health!
