Easily Made with Ponzu! Simmered Chicken Drumettes

I substituted ponzu for the usual soy sauce and rice vinegar to reduce the cooking time with success. Since all you have to do is flavor and season the drumettes, it's so easy! And delicious!

Ingredients: 10 chicken drumettes

Water
50ml

Steps

1. Place all of the ingredients into a pan and simmer on medium heat.
2. Adjust the heat occasionally so that it doesn't burn. Simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
3. Once the liquid boils down, turn over the drumettes to glaze.
4. Done! They are also yummy in a bento.

Story Behind this Recipe

This recipe really helps out when I'm really busy. Usually it's made with soy sauce and rice vinegar, but using ponzu makes it even quicker!
