Taco Rice

A crowd-pleasing recipe that calls for minimal ingredients.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Mixed ground beef and pork
200 g
2 leaves
Cherry tomatoes
6 to 7
★ Ketchup
4 tablespoons
★ Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
2 tablespoons
★ Curry powder
1 teaspoon
★ Salt and pepper
a little of each
Plain cooked rice
2 servings


1. Chop the onions finely. Shred the lettuce leaves. Quarter the cherry tomatoes.
2. Combine the ingredients marked ★.
3. Make the taco meat mixture. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan, add the ground meat and onion and stir fry.
4. When it's cooked, add the ★ ingredients and reduce the sauce a little. Adjust the taste with salt and pepper. Serve some rice in bowls and top with shredded lettuce, tomatoes and taco meat mix.
