Marinated Tuna Rice Bowl

The marinade has a ratio of 3 parts soy : 2 parts mirin : 1 part sake.
You can easily make this delicious rice bowl dish.


Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
1 tablespoon
Fresh sashimi grade tuna
as desired
Boiled shirasu
as desired
Shredded nori seaweed
to taste
Shiso leaves
as needed
White sesame seeds
to taste
Green onions
to taste


1. Put the sake and mirin in a small pot and bring to a boil over low heat to evaporate the alcohol. Let cool, then add the soy sauce to finish the marinade.
2. Marinade the tuna in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes.
3. Top the rice with shredded nori.
4. Top that with shirasu.
5. Top with the tuna.
6. Top with shiso, white sesame seeds, and green onions to finish.
