Top-Notch Spareribs

This is my mother's simple sparerib recipe.
They soak up the flavors of the simmering broth and are so good!

Ingredients: 10 pieces

Pork spareribs
10 pieces
★Soy sauce
1/2 cup
★Powdered sugar (regular sugar is OK)
1/2 cup
1/2 cup
1/2 cup
1 clove
★Bay leaf


1. Add the ★ ingredients to a pot and turn on the heat.
2. Once Step 1 has come to a boil, add the spareribs, cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes. (Make sure not to let all of the broth boil off.)
3. Once the spareribs have cooked through and the broth has boiled down, stick the ribs into the toaster oven right before eating to make them a bit crispy, and enjoy!
4. The spareribs are also delicious with the broth poured over them!
