Juicy Simmered Ground Chicken and Daikon Radish

Mildly flavored. Great for tired stomachs.

Ingredients

Daikon Radish
1/3 daikon radish
Carrots (if preferred)
1 carrot
Minced chicken
150 g
●Ginger paste
about 2 cm
●Soy sauce, Cooking sake, Mirin
1 tablespoon each
Fine chicken soup stock powder
1 tablespoon
Water
250ml
Salt
to taste
Katakuriko slurry
as needed

Steps

1. Cut the daikon radish and carrots into preferred sizes. Boil the daikon in water that has been used to wash rice if available. Regular water is OK if unavailable!
2. Add daikon and carrots from step 1, ground chicken, and ● ingredients into a pot and boil. Season with salt once the carrots have softened.
3. This time, I added 50ml of water to 1 tablespoon of katakuriko to make a slurry.

5. Garnish it with chopped green onions or similar to make it look pretty!
