Baby Food Snack Milky Kabocha Squash Jello

Baby Food Snack Milky Kabocha Squash Jello

This doesn't require sugar. This jello is filled with nutritious kabocha and baby formula. The texture is easy to eat for a baby in the midst of learning to eat solids. Enjoy on hot days.

Ingredients: 3 servings

Kabocha squash
100 g
Baby formula
200 ml (dissolved in the appropriate amount of water)
Gelatin powder
5g (+50 ml hot water)

1. Completely dissolve the gelatin powder in 50 ml of hot water.
2. Remove the skin from the kabocha and cut into pieces. Microwave to soften (I microwaved at 600 W for 3 minutes)
3. Mash the kabocha in a blender or pass through a strainer.
4. Combine the formula, Step 1, and Step 3 in a bowl and place over a bowl of ice water. Mix with a whisk.
5. When the mixture has become cooled and thick, pour into a container and chill it in the refrigerator so that it hardens.
6. This hardness is perfect for babies who are in the middle of eating solids.

Story Behind this Recipe

I thought up this snack because I wanted my daughter, who is in the midst of weaning, to be able to easily eat something nutritious on a hot day.
