Rich Basil Pesto Pasta

This is a pasta coated with a rich basil pesto made with fresh basil. The fragrant herbs and nutty texture is something you'll look forward to.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Pasta (I used rigatoni)
220 g
Basil pesto
as desired (I halved Recipe ID: 1448805)
Parmigiano-Reggiano (grated)
2 tablespoons
Olive oil (extra virgin)
as needed
to taste


1. Prepare the basil pesto (such as Recipe ID: 1448805). The nuts give it a great texture.
2. This time, I used rigatoni. Penne rigatoni (thin with a small hole) also goes great with this.
3. Boil the pasta in a lot of boiling water that is just a little salty until slightly harder than al dente. Don't add too much salt!
4. Drain the boiled pasta well. Transfer to a boil and add 1 tablespoon of cheese. Toss lightly. It's also good with a lot of cheese.
5. Finally, adjust the taste with salt and drizzle with olive oil. Drizzle a tablespoon of cheese and serve.
