Baked Chikuwa with Mayonnaise and Corn

Easy recipe that requires only mixing, placing, and baking. Adding the secret ingredient, ao-nori seaweed, enhances the flavour. Enjoy as a drinking appetizer or for bento.

Ingredients: 2 servings

★Corn kernels
1 tablespoon
1 teaspoon
2/3 ~ 1 tablespoon
★Cheese (I used shreded type)
1 tablespoon


1. Cut the chikuwa into half lengthwise and crosswise to make 8 pieces.
2. Mix all the ★ ingredients.
3. Spoon the Step 2 mixture onto the chikuwa from Step 1, and bake in a toaster oven for about 10 minutes, then it's done.
