Remove the strings from the sugar snap peas and microwave for a minute and a half. Wash the new potatoes well and microwave for 4 to 5 minutes, then cut up into easy to eat pieces. Cut the wiener sausages in half.
Heat some oil in a frying pan and saute the new potatoes and sausages.
Add the sugar snap peas and saute briefly. Sprinkle in the soup granules, and adjust the taste with the salt and pepper to finish. Turn the heat off as soon as you add the soup granules.
These are the soup stock granules I used.
It was pointed out by some people who tried out the recipe that the soup granules burn, so I adjusted the recipe. You can dissolve the granules in 1/2 tablespoons of hot water and add it at the end to prevent burning.
Story Behind this Recipe
I won a draw to become a recipe tester for Ajinomoto soup stock.
Cover with plastic wrap when microwaving. New potatoes can be eaten with the skins on. You can cook them whole (until a bamboo skewer goes through one easily) then cut them. If you cut them before cooking them, the skins will come off. Let them cool down a bit before cutting. Don't burn yourself. (I used a 500 W microwave.)
