Extremely Simple Recipe! Western-style Okonomiyaki!

This is a simple recipe that you can make in less than 10 minutes.

Ingredients: 2 people

Cake flour
Dashi stock granules
1/3 tablespoon
about 1/4 head
Pork meat, eggs (use whatever you like)
enough to make okonomiyaki
Bonito flakes, aonori
enough to make okonomiyaki
Okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise
enough to make okonomiyaki


1. Whisk the cake flour in water. Heat vegetable oil in a pan, and add in about 1 ladle worth of the batter.
2. Add cabbage, pork, etc. on top of the batter. This time I used pork, shrimp, and an egg.
3. Cover it with aluminum foil for 3-4 minutes, to steam-cook. Flip it over once the meat and eggs have warmed up. Cook for about 1 more minute, and it's done!
4. Top with bonito flakes and aonori dried seaweed, okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, to taste and enjoy.
