Rose Jam

I made some jam from the roses in my garden. It's extremely fragrant with a luxurious taste.


Pesticide-free rose petals
100 g
75 g
Lemon juice
50 ml
200 ml


1. Wash the rose petals and separate with your hands. Place into a pot with the other ingredients and simmer over low heat for about 1 hour.
2. When the rose petals have all become soft and take on a paste-like consistency, it's done. Keep an eye on it and add water as necessary.
3. This probably isn't necessary, but in my home, once the petals have softened, we use a stick blender to make it into a paste.
4. This jam is used in our Fried Donuts at Recipe ID: 1429054. It's also great on ice cream.
