California Rolls

For all avocado-lovers.
I could eat a ton of these rolls.

Ingredients: Makes approx. 8 sushi rolls

Sushi rice
2 rice cooker cups (360ml uncooked rice)
Nori (dried seaweed sheet)
8 slices (2 sheets)
Imitation crab meat sticks
a small amount
Toasted white sesame seeds
to taste


1. Prepare the sushi rice. While it's cooling, slice the avocado. Slice thinly to make 16 slices.
2. Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on a sushi mat. Place a sheet of nori on top and then cover with the sushi rice. Sprinkle on some toasted white sesame seeds.
3. Flip over the nori with the sushi rice. Place the avocado and imitation crab meat stick on top. Wrap it up to finish.

I remembered how the sushi-chef at my part-time job was making these rolls, and that's how I put this together.
