Vegan & Macrobiotic Tempeh Bacon

For B.L.T. sandwiches. This is also great on it's own as a tasty snack.


120 g
*Olive oil
2 tablespoons
*Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
*Salt and pepper
a small amount
*Crushed garlic
2 teaspoons
*Ground cumin
to taste (I use about 1/2 teaspoon)


1. Thinly slice the tempeh.
2. Mix the * ingredients together, transfer to a bowl, and add Step 1.
3. Let sit for 5 minutes, then fry until crisp, and it's done.
4. Use in dishes such as a vegetarian B.L.T. sandwich.
