Cherry Tomatoes and Spring Onions in Chinese Style Marinade

By using sesame oil, the flavor of the dish becomes instantly Chinese. The added springs onions makes the dish sweeter.

Ingredients

Cherry tomatoes
1 pack
Spring onion
1/2
◆ Apple vinegar
2 tablespoons
◆ Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
◆ Soy sauce
1 teaspoon
◆ Honey
1 teaspoon
◆ Salt and coarsely ground pepper
To taste

Steps

1. Remove the stems from the cherry tomatoes, and make several small cuts into the skins. Submerge the tomatoes in boiling water for 10 seconds, then drain. The skins should peel right off!
2. Combine the ◆ ingredients in a bowl. Add the peeled tomatoes and thinly sliced onion. You can eat it right away, or chill first.
