An Italian-Style Dish for a Change Stir-Fried Chicken with Cheese & Basil

I made an Italian-style dish using grated cheese and basil. Olive oil added more flavour to the chicken.

Ingredients

Chicken thighs
300 g
Olive oil (for stir frying)
3 tablespoons
Salt and pepper
as needed (adding a generous amount makes the dish tasty)
Grated cheese
3-5 tablespoons
All-purpose flour
2 tablespoons
Basil (powdered)
a small amount (about 2 shakes)

Steps

1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, and place in a plastic bag. Pre-season with salt, pepper, and grated cheese. Inflate the bag with some air and shake its contents well.
2. Let it sit for a while, and add the flour and basil. Shake well in the same way as Step 1.
3. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, and fry the chicken over medium-high heat. Once browned, flip.
4. When the surface of the chicken pieces have evenly changed colors, turn down the heat. Lid and steam-fry.
5. When cooked through, remove the lid. Fry until golden brown, and you're done.

Story Behind this Recipe

The expiration date of the grated cheese was getting close, so I came up with a dish that would use a lot of it.
