Avocado, Japanese-Style

Avocado, Japanese-Style

I made a Japanese fusion recipe with an avocado. When you eat this, you'll definitely think of Japan. For some reason, garlic lovers seem to like this a lot.

Ingredients: 1 serving

● Soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon
1 teaspoon
● Sesame oil
1/2 tablespoon
● Dashi stock granules (or a little grated garlic)
1/2 teaspoon
Toppings of your choice:
Shredded nori seaweed
a small amount
Ichimi spice (or ra-yu)
a small amount

1. Mix the ● ingredients together well.
2. Cut the avocado in half. Stick the heel of your knife into the pit and give it a turn to remove it cleanly. (Be careful not to cut yourself.)
3. Peel the avocado, and cut it into 2 cm pieces.
4. Add the combined ingredients from Step 1 to the avocado and mix.
5. Transfer to a serving plate and it's done. Top with shredded nori seaweed or ichimi spice to taste.

Story Behind this Recipe

Avocado flavored with soy sauce exists, but I added a little extra step. Vinegar prevents the avocado from discoloring, too.
