Baked Onion with Tuna and Cheese

This is a great option for when you feel you need one more dish.
Easy to make, and delicious!


Canned tuna
1 can
about 1 teaspoon
Black pepper
to taste
Melting type sliced cheese
1 slice


1. Drain the liquid from the canned tuna. Combine with mayonnaise and black pepper.
2. Slice the onion crosswise into 4 circles and sprinkle with katakuriko. Fry the onion starting from the larger sides (that are facing up in this picture).
3. Heat some oil in a frying pan. Fry the onions over low to medium heat until they're well done.
4. Turn them over. Place the tuna from Step 1 and the cheese on top of the onion. Cover the pan and continue to cook until the cheese melts. Done!
