Crispy Cocoa Cookies

Your kitchen will be fragrant of cocoa powder while these bake in the oven.

Ingredients: 4 cm diameter x 35 cookies

60 g
70 g
Egg yolk
☆Cake flour
115 g
☆Cocoa powder
15 g


1. Preparation: Soften the butter at room temperature. Mix the ☆ ingredients well and set aside.
2. Cream the butter and sugar until pale.
3. Add egg yolk, and whisk some more.
4. Add the mixed ☆ ingredients from Step 1, fold in, then form into a dough.
5. Wrap with plastic wrap, and let sit in the fridge for 30-60 minutes.
6. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and roll it out to 5 mm thick.
7. Cut out into your favourite shapes, and bake in the preheated oven at 180℃/350℉ for 17 - 20 minutes.
