Pasta With Manila Clams

Rich with the umami from the clams, and the delicious fragrance of garlic.

Ingredients: 3 servings

300 g
Manila clams
350 g
1 clove
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
White wine
50 ml
50 ml
● Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
● Dashi stock granules
1 teaspoon
●Salt and pepper
a small amount each
Pasta cooking water
50 ml
Green onion or scallion
To taste


1. In a frying pan, add olive oil and garlic and cook over low heat until fragrant.
2. Add the de-gritted and washed clams.
3. Add wine and water.
4. Put a lid on (medium heat) and start boiling the pasta.
5. When the clams have opened up and steamed, add the ● ingredients.
6. Add the pasta cooking water and green onions. Taste and adjust the seasoning. If the clams cook before the pasta, turn the heat off and leave on standby.
7. Mix the clams and sauce with the pasta and it's done.
