Lots of Lettuce Sandwich

Lots of Lettuce Sandwich

Make a sandwich with a ton of lettuce!! The crispy texture is awesome. I reproduced a sandwich they sell at 7-11!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Sliced bread (thin)
4 slices
4 slices
Sliced cheese (non-melting type)
2 slices
4 leaves
French dressing
2 tablespoons
To taste

1. Get all the ingredients ready.
2. Spread the bread thinly with margarine. Top with ham and cheese.
3. Stack 2 leaves of lettuce together neatly.
4. Cut the lettuce in half.
5. Place one half with the cut side facing outwards on the bread, drizzle on 1/2 tablespoon of French dressing, and top with another half-leaf of lettuce.
6. Squeeze together tightly.
7. Drizzle the remaining dressing on the lettuce. Top with the ham, and put on the other slice of bread.
8. It is pretty thick.
9. Leave for about 10 minutes with a cutting board on top as a weight.
10. Wrap in plastic wrap until you're ready to eat it. Otherwise it will fall apart...
11. The lettuce is so crispy, it's like eating a salad.
12. 23 April, 2011. I made it again for the first time in a while.

Story Behind this Recipe

I loved the lettuce sandwiches from 7-11, so I wanted to make my own. It's like eating a salad. The key is the French dressing.
