Homemade Milk Jam Black Tea Flavor

Homemade Milk Jam Black Tea Flavor

This is made in saucepan and it's great for spreading on bread or toast. Feel free to think of other uses for this, too.

Ingredients: 1/2 a small jam jar

Milk
more than 150 ml
Tea bags
as needed
Sugar
2 tablespoons
Skim milk
2 tablespoons

Steps

1. Brew the tea in milk (don't add water).
2. It's best to use a high quality tea leaves.
3. Measure 150 ml of the milk-brewed tea. Add to a pan with sugar and skim milk. Mix and turn on the heat.
4. Use a spatula to stir it once it starts to thicken. It should be done in about 10 minutes from the time you turn the heat on. It will thicken as it cools, so there's no need to reduce it (please don't!).
5. Turn off the heat and stir until it's silky smooth.
