Easy Bite-Size Kinako Mochi

No need for baking or steaming. Only microwaving.
Delicious and easy. This is a kinako mochi recipe you can prepare immediately.


Sliced mochi
2 pieces
2 tablespoons
3 teaspoons
1/3 teaspoon


1. Cut the sliced mochi into 6 even cubes.
2. Pour water in a bowl. Add the mochi and microwave it for 1 minute at 600 W.
3. Combine the kinako, sugar, and salt in a separate bowl. Add Step 2 mochi to the bowl after draining, coat with the kinako mixture.
4. Coat twice with the kinako mixture, and it's done.
