Boiled Spinach--There's a Limit to Being Fuss-free!

Regardless of whether or not this can be considered a recipe, it's our family favorite.

Ingredients: 2 servings

1 pack
Dashi soy sauce or mentsuyu
1 and 1/2 tablespoons
Sesame seeds
to taste

1. Rinse the spinach well, and parboil in boiling water. Boil the spinach before cutting.
2. When boiling the spinach, dunk the stalks in first, count to 10, then immerse the leaves and boil for 1-2 minutes.
3. Remove the spinach from the boiling water, drain in chilled water, then gently squeeze out the excess water, and cut into desired lengths.
4. Pour on the dashi soy sauce (and toss, if you like), sprinkle on some sesame seeds, then it's ready to serve.
