A simple taramo salad made by mashed potatoes with tarako (salt cured cod roe). It makes a delicious spread on bread.
I love taramosalata, so whenever I make mashed potatoes I make extra and mix tarako in half of it.
The saltiness of tarako varies, so add a little salt at step 3. Taste at the very end when you mix in the tarako, and add more salt if needed.
