Easy Marshmallow Chocolates in a Microwave

Easy Marshmallow Chocolates in a Microwave

This recipe is great for first time parent-child cooking! This is an easy recipe that is not too sweet.
I modified the ingredients a little bit!! It's easier than before, so give it a try.

Ingredients: 30 truffle cups

Corn flakes (brown rice flakes are also ok)
100 g
Store-bought chocolate bars ( Ghana is my favourite )
2 ~ 2.5 bars (about 150 g)
100 g
Margarine or butter
30 g

1. Put the marshmallows and chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 1 minute at 600W. Stir, and microwave for another 1.5 ~ 2 minutes.
2. Remove from the microwave, and fold in the corn flakes over a double boiler. Put in truffle cups, and it's done when it has hardened.
3. You can also transfer it to a tray, and cut out a shape with a cookie cutter. It will be cute, too.
4. It seems like some people found difficulty when using their microwave. If so, heat a thick pot or a frying pan over low heat, and add butter→ marshmallows→ chocolate→ cornflakes in that order.

Story Behind this Recipe

This is more crispy, moist, and lighter than store-bought choco flakes. This is an easy and delicious recipe that even kids can make by themselves once they get used to it.
