Wash the sprouts and cut off the root ends. Finely chop the shallots and garlic. Preheat the oven to 190 ℃.
Add olive oil and butter to an oven-safe skillet, heat on medium heat, add the shallots and garlic, and cook until fragrant.
Add the brussels sprouts and sauté until the oil is well distributed.
Put the skillet into the oven and grill for 20 minutes. I recommend shaking the pan halfway through grilling and turning over the sprouts.
If you don't have a skillet that can fit in your oven, transfer to an oven-safe dish instead.
