Baked Rice Flour Doughnuts

These baked doughnuts have a glutinous and chewy texture that's addictive.

Ingredients: Makes 6 doughnuts in a doughnut pan + 3 doughnuts in muffin cups

Rice flour
100 g
Baking powder
1 teaspoon
Honey (or sugar)
2 tablespoons (add more if desired)
70 ml
20 g
Powdered sugar (to finish)
as needed


1. Put the eggs into a bowl and beat. Add the honey and milk and mix with a whisk.
2. Add the rice flour and baking powder to the mixture from Step 1 and mix again.
3. Add the melted butter to the mixture from Step 2 and mix.
4. Pour the doughnut batter from Step 3 into a pan greased with butter or oil.
5. Bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180ºC.
6. After they cool off, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
