4 Minutes in a Silicone Steamer Rich Chocolate Cake

You can make this simple and rich chocolate cake whenever you want it in just 15 minutes! All you need to cook it is a silicone steamer (Lekué) and a microwave.

Ingredients: 1 small silicone steamer (I used a Petit Lekué)

Milk chocolate
1 bar (55-60 g)
Dark chocolate
1 bar (55-60 g)
Heavy cream (vegetable-based is OK)
100 ml
Cake flour
2 tablespoons

1. Break the chocolate into a heat-resistant container and heat it in the microwave together with the heavy cream for 2 minutes (700 W).
2. Stir the mixture from Step 1 with a whisk. Add the egg, then the flour, mixing well with the whisk after each addition.
3. Pour the batter into the Lekué, put the lid on top and heat it for 4 minutes in the microwave (700 W).
4. Once the cake has cooled, remove it from the Lekué.
5. If you're using a 600 W microwave then please heat the cake for 5 minutes.

Story Behind this Recipe

I didn't have time to bake a cake so I tried steaming one in a silicone steamer in the microwave. It turned out rich and delicious so I uploaded the recipe here.
