Chocolate & Caramel Steamed Bread

Since this would otherwise be high in calories, I only used whole wheat flour and okara!!

Ingredients: one 18 cm pan

△Fresh okara
100 g
△Whole wheat flour
100 g
△Sugar
20 g
△Milk
130 ml
△Baking powder
1 teaspoon
△Vegetable oil
2 teaspoons
△Egg yolk

■Egg white
2
■Sugar
20 g
Truffles
3-4
Caramel
4-5 pieces

Steps

1. Line the pan with plastic wrap. Cut each truffle and each piece of caramel into 4 pieces. Start heating the steamer.
2. Put the △ ingredients in a bowl and mix. In a separate bowl, make the meringue (■ ingredients). Add the meringue in 2 batches to the first bowl and mix with a rubber spatula, taking care not to break the air bubbles.
3. Pour 1/2 of the batter into the pan. Sprinkle half of the caramel pieces on top. Pour in the rest of the batter and sprinkle with pieces of chocolate truffle. Steam on medium heat for 27 minutes. Stick it with a skewer and if it comes out clean, it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to make a dessert that didn't knead the truffles into the batter so I scattered pieces of truffle on top.
