Marinated Ham Salad

After you have this basic marinade recipe you can arrange your salad to your taste! Use your favorite ingredients for an easy, delicious salad.


Basic Marinade:
Olive oil (or vegetable oil)
2/3 cup
1/3 cup
2/3 teaspoon
Coarsely ground black pepper
to taste
Main Ingredients:
Thinly sliced ham
8 to 10 slices
as needed


1. Preparation: Cut the ham into quarters. Cut the onion in half lengthwise and slice thinly.
2. For the marinade: Put the olive oil and vinegar and mix well with a whisk.
3. After it's mixed, add salt and pepper and whisk well until emulsified.
4. Put some of the onion in a plastic container, then add ham, and continue alternating the layers. Drizzle the marinade.
5. Close the lid of the container and leave to rest in the fridge for about half a day to let the flavour absorb.
6. To marinate evenly, stir several times.
7. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley.
