Happy Pasta Carbonara

This is a 100% success guaranteed recipe with simple ingredients and easy steps, even if you are making a large amount. You can cook a half portion instead, depending on the size of the pan you're using.

Ingredients: 4-5 servings

Spaghetti (1.6 mm)
400 g
Olive oil
to fry
1 clove
1/2 piece
8 slices
Heavy cream
200 ml
Heavy cream
50 ml
Parmesan cheese
90 g
1 teaspoon
Black pepper
to taste


1. Prepare the sauce. Whisk the ingredients listed in A all together in a mixing bowl. Slice garlic and onion. Cut the bacon into 1.5 cm pieces. Set aside.
2. Cook pasta for 1 minute less than instructed on the package.
3. Heat olive oil and the garlic in the skillet until fragrant and then sauté the bacon. When the bacon gets brown, add the onion.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and 1 ladle of the pasta cooking water. Add the pasta.
5. Immediately move the pan from the heat onto a damp cloth. Pour the egg mixture into the pasta, whisking quickly.
6. Serve at once garnished with roughly grated black pepper and grated cheese as you wish.
