Baked Potato and Tuna with Cheese

Baked Potato and Tuna with Cheese

The reason why this takes no time to cook is because I use Japanese leek instead of onion.

Ingredients: 3 to 4 servings

Japanese leek
Canned tuna in oil
1 can
2 to 3 tablespoons
4 to 6 tablespoons
Melting type cheese
To taste
Salt and pepper
To taste

1. Peel the potatoes and slice thinly with a slicer or mandolin. Julienne the white part of the leek (it doesn't have to be ultra thin). Soak both in water.
2. Drain the potatoes and leek. Wrap the potatoes in plastic wrap and microwave for 2 minutes. Mix the leek with the canned tuna! Mix the milk and mayonnaise together in another bowl!
3. Put the potatoes in a heatproof dish. Add the tuna and leek mix, then pour the mayonnaise-milk sauce over all. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then top with some melting type cheese.
4. Bake in a toaster oven until the cheese starts to brown (in our toaster oven it took about 7 minutes) and it's done. Add Tabasco to taste!

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to eat gratin potatoes, but I didn't have much time, so what to do? This is not a gratin at all but it's easy and tasty.
