Broccolini Dressed in Japanese Mustard - Our Side Dish

Japanese mustard is a nice accent to the bitter broccolini greens in this grown up side dish. A dish for the happy season.

Ingredients

Broccolini
1 bunch
Dashi stock granules
1/2 teaspoon
Combined flavoring ingredients:
Dashi, water
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Japanese mustard
1 to 1.5 teaspoon

Steps

1. Cut the broccolini into bite-sized pieces.
2. Add salt to boiling water, then add the broccolini, starting from the hard stems.
3. Once boiled, shock in water to preserve the color, then add the dashi and mix.
4. Add the flavoring ingredients while tasting.
