Rich and Delicious Kinpira with Ground Chicken

Rich and Delicious Kinpira with Ground Chicken

This is what my family calls "the usual kinpira" You mix up the 4:3:2:1 ratio seasoning ahead of time, so all you gotta do is microwave it. It's simple . Great in bentos!

Ingredients

Carrot
1
Burdock root
1
Ground chicken
200g
●Soy sauce
4 tablespoons
●Sake
3 tablespoons
●Sugar
2 tablespoons
●Mirin
1 tablespoon
Sesame oil
to taste
Sesame seeds
to taste

Steps

1. Cut the vegetables diagonally, and then into thin strips. Soak the burdock root in vinegar and water, to remove the scum. Mix the ● ingredients together.
2. Heat sesame oil in a pan, and cook the minced chicken. Once it has browned, add in the strained vegetables and saute.
3. Once the oil has coated everything, add ●.
4. After the water has mostly evaporated, sprinkle in the sesame seeds, and you're done!!

Story Behind this Recipe

This is my family's favorite go-to kinpira . My husband has even confessed, "As long as you have this you don't need a main dish"! I'm so proud of this recipe.
