1. This recipe is a variation of Recipe ID: 1300697. Prepare the ingredients.
2. Making the recipe for Valentine's Day, I made it into cup cakes with chocolate chips and decorated it with sliced almonds.
3. Add all dry ingredients except the sugar in a plastic bag, and massage the bag with your hands to mix.
4. Pour hot water in a frying pan. Float the bowl of butter on the water in the fry pan and heat up to melt the butter.
5. When the butter has completely melted, add sugar to it and mix.
6. After mixing it well, add eggs and continue mixing well!
7. When the eggs are mixed in well, add heavy cream and continue mixing! You can also use milk instead of heavy cream.
8. After mixing in the heavy cream, pour the mixture into the plastic bag and mix. Mix until the flouriness disappears.
9. When the flour streaks has disappeared, add chocolate chips and mix roughly.
10. There are just a few more steps from here. I got paper muffin cups from the 100 yen shop!
11. Using a spoon pour the mixture into the cups to about half full. If you drop the mixture with the spoon, the air pockets will disappear.
12. Drop the cups on to the table to eliminate air pockets. Decorate with sliced almond on top.
13. Line the cups on a heatproof container and cover loosely with cellophane wrap.
14. Place disposable chopsticks under the heatproof container and heat up in at 500 to 600W in the microwave for about 3 minutes.
15. When you poke a toothpick into the cake and if nothing sticks to the toothpick, then it is ready.
16. When the cup cakes are slightly cool, cover them with a cellophane wrap loosely so that it wont be dry, let it cool. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on when it is cool. I think it would be nice if you use a tea strainer to sprinkle the powdered sugar.
