Cut the chicken into bite size pieces. Rub in the chicken with the mixed * seasoning until there's no liquid left. Cut the green onions into 3 cm length.
Heat 2 teaspoons of oil and cook the chicken until golden brown. Take out the chicken and set aside.
Add a little more oil and cook the green onions until browned and take out from the pan.
Boil teriyaki sauce ingredients in the pan and add the chicken and green onions. Cook until the sauce thickens.
Story Behind this Recipe
My family used to call chicken teriyaki with green onions. It's great with rice! I recreated this dish based off my childhood memories.
If you are preparing this in advance, stop at Step 3 and coat the chicken with the sauce right before you serve! When you reheat the chicken, use a gas stove, not microwave, otherwise the chicken will become brittle.
