My Sushi Rice Recipe

Simply combined.
This is how we make our sushi rice at home.

Ingredients

Uncooked white rice
4 rice cooker cups (720 ml)
☆Vinegar
100 ml
☆Sugar
20 g
☆Salt
1 teaspoon
☆ Konbu dashi stock granules
a small amount

Steps

1. Cook 4 rice cooker cups of rice. Add a little less water than usual.
2. Combine ☆ ingredients.
3. Add the seasoning mixture from Step 2 into the freshly cooked rice. Mix in a cutting motion. Fan the rice as you mix.
4. Once it has cooled down, the versatile sushi rice is ready to use for nori seaweed rolls, chirashizushi and other dishes.
