Vegan Mayonnaise

This vegan mayonnaise is quite delicious. I used a type of flaxseed oil that can be heated, so you can use it in cooked dishes too.


Firm tofu
1/2 block (about 180 g)
Lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons
Cooking flaxseed oil (or linseed oil)
1 tablespoon
1 clove
Rock salt
1 pinch
Japanese mustard (to taste)
about 1/2 teaspoon


1. Drain the firm tofu very well. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend well.
2. Put this on an avocado and cook in a toaster oven for 10 minutes to make avocado gratiné. This is high in calories though so I don't serve it to my mother. Recipe ID: 1244564

Story Behind this Recipe
