Make the chocolate petals beforehand. (Recipe ID: 1579084)
Melt the chocolate over a pan of hot water at approx. 50℃. Coat one side of the marshmallows with the chocolate.
Place the marshmallows on top of a sheet of baking paper and sprinkle over the toppings before the chocolate can set.
Once the chocolate has set, add a small amount of melted chocolate to the back of the marshmallows. Use the melted chocolate to stick the marshmallows to a stick of pocky. Once this chocolate has also set, they're ready.
1 marshmallow weighs around 3 g and I used 21 of them. I used a pack of 7 thick sticks of crunchy strawberry pocky.
Story Behind this Recipe
I thought of this recipe after finding some cute marshmallow hearts in a dollar store. Originally, I was going to skewer the marshmallows with the pocky but that didn't really work out so I stuck them on instead.
When melting the chocolate, please don't let the temperature of the chocolate get too high or it will go lumpy. Please add the toppings before the chocolate sets. Have fun deciding on the variations of chocolate and pocky that you want to use.
