Filling! Pork Miso Soup

A satisfying pork miso soup that'll warm you up.

Ingredients: 5 servings

Sliced pork belly
150 g
Onion

Carrot
1
Taro root
5
Chinese cabbage
5 leaves
Daikon radish
10 cm
◆ Dashi soup stock
2 tablespoons
◆ Sake
1 tablespoon
◆ Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
◆ Miso
5 tablespoons
Salt
a pinch
Water
1000 ml

Steps

1. Prep: Cut the pork and the vegetables into bite-sized pieces (except for the Chinese cabbage leaves).
2. Heat a little oil in a pot and fry the pork. When it's half cooked, add the vegetables and salt, and cook over medium heat for 1 minute.
3. Add water and skim off the scum when it comes to a boil. Cover the pot and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.
4. Turn off the heat, add ◆ ingredients and the Chinese cabbage leaves. Bring it a boil and it's done!
