Broccoli with Fluffy Omelette and Ankake Sauce

Top microwaved broccoli with creamy and fluffy egg and ankake sauce. An easy and delicious dish that lets the broccoli shine!

Ingredients: 4 servings

1 small bunch
A. Water
300 ml
A. Chinese soup stock
1 1/2 tablespoons
A. Sake, sesame oil
2 teaspoons each
A. Oyster sauce
2/3 teaspoon
A. Salt
a small amount
Katakuriko slurry
a small amount


1. Divide the broccoli into small florets. Sprinkle with salt, put into a microwave steaming dish, add 4 tablespoons of water, and microwave for 4 minutes.
2. Turn the broccoli over and microwave for an additional 2 minutes. Leave the lid on (the broccoli should be tender).
3. Put the A. ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil. Add the katakuriko dissolved in water and bring to a boil again. Add the beaten egg in several batches, stirring in between additions.
4. Put the steamed broccoli on a serving plate, and pour the egg-ankake sauce mixture on top.
