Easy Rice Bowl--Pork and Komatsuna with Ankake Sauce

Here's a nutritionally balanced rice bowl for when you're short on time.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Cooked rice (warm)
2 large (donburi) bowls' worth
Pork, thinly sliced (belly, pork bits)
70-80g
Komatsuna
1/2 bunch
☆Dashi stock
1 cup
☆Soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons
☆Sake
1 tablespoon
☆Salt
a small amount
Katakuriko
1 tablespoon
Sesame oil
1 teaspoon

Steps

1. Cut the pork and komatsuna into 2cm strips.
2. Place the pork in a pan and lightly fry (add oil, if necessary). Add the komatsuna stems and fry until tender.
3. Add the komatsuna leaves and the ☆ ingredients. Skim any scum from the surface. Add a slurry of katakuriko dissolved in water to thicken.
4. Drizzle on sesame oil and it's done.
