Easy "Roast Beef" Cooked In A Frying Pan

An easy roast beef made in one frying pan! Effortless, easy and delicious!

Ingredients: 4 servings

Beef round (block)
380 to 400 g
Salt and pepper
a small amount
● Red wine (cooking sake is OK too)
100 ml
● Mirin
100 ml
● Soy sauce
50 ml
● Bottled yakiniku sauce (medium-hot)
50 ml
◎ Heavy cream
2 tablespoons
◎ Grated garlic
1 clove

1. Mix the ● ingredients together in a measuring cup. Pat the beef dry and rub in some salt and pepper.
2. Brown the meat in a frying pan. (Choose a block of beef that's rectangular in shape if at all possible.)
3. Add the combined sauce to the frying pan and bring to a boil. Cook the beef for 2 minutes per side, for a total of 8 minutes.
4. Turn off the heat, put a lid on and leave to cool. When the beef has cooled down, put it with the sauce into a plastic bag, take out the air and leave to rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
5. Turn the meat over occasionally while it rests, to allow the sauce to penetrate it evenly.
6. Combine half of the liquid in the bag with the ◎ ingredients to make the sauce. I recommend dipping the meat in the sauce to eat it; it's delicious.
