Easy Chicken Sauté With Honey Mustard

Easy Chicken Sauté With Honey Mustard

Just marinate and pan fry! The honey and the mild grainy mustard combine to make a dish that works well as a drinking appetizer or with rice. It's also great in bento!

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Chicken thigh
1 thigh
For the sauce:
★ Grainy mustard
2 tablespoons
★ Honey
1 tablespoon
★ Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
★ Sake
1 tablespoon
★ Salt and Pepper
As needed
Oil for pan frying
as needed
Shredded cabbage as garnish
as much as you like

1. Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces and put into a Ziploc bag with the ingredients marked ★ (mustard, honey, soy sauce, sake, salt and pepper) and massage the whole bag to let the flavors penetrate. Leave to marinate for 10 minutes. Shred the cabbage in the meantime.
2. Heat a little oil in a non-stick frying pan and start frying the chicken skin side down.
3. Fry the chicken over medium-low heat to cook through thoroughly.
4. When the chicken is cooked, arrange with shredded cabbage on a dish and serve.
5. I used this grainy mustard. It has tons of grains! It's not too hot, and it was only 300 yen!
