Easy! Meat Sauce

This is a demi-glace type meat sauce that tries to replicate the flavor of Pizza Hut's Sicilian-style pizza. It goes well tossed with pasta.

Ingredients: 22 cm pizza worth (670 kcal for the whole batch)

Ground beef
150 g
1/2 medium
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Red wine
2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
Beef stew roux
2 tablespoons
Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
1 tablespoon


1. Put the olive oil in a frying pan, and sauté the ground beef until well browned.
2. Add the onion. Sauté until wilted.
3. Add the red wine, and stir until it has evaporated.
4. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer until thickened.
