Three-Colour Soboro Bento

This lifesaver is a standard feature in my bento lunchboxes!!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Mixed ground meat
90 g
Sake
1 tablespoon
Mirin
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Sugar
2 tablespoons
Grated ginger
a small amount (to remove any odors)
Egg soboro
Egg
1
Sugar
a small amount
Mirin
2 teaspoons

Steps

1. Add the seasonings to a small pot. When they start to boil, add meat, and simmer until the liquid is almost gone.
2. Egg Soboro: 1 egg, 2 teaspoons mirin, and a small amount of sugar.
3. Heat a small amount of oil in a separate small pot, pour in all the egg mixture, and scramble until crumbly. Place the meat and egg soboro with your favorite green vegetables on a bed of rice in a bento box.
