Simple Salmon Carbonara

With salmon flakes and a microwaveable sauce you can't fail!
This is a thick, restaurant-quality sauce.

Ingredients: serves 1

100 g
Salmon flakes (ready made)
3 tablespoons
3 tablespoons
●Sliced cheese (non-melting type)
2 slices
●Egg yolk
Salt, black pepper
to taste


1. Tear the sliced cheese into pieces and place in a heat-resistant bowl with the milk.
2. Heat unwrapped in a microwave (est. 1 min 30 sec at 600 W). Mix well after heating.
3. Add the egg yolk and salmon flakes and mix.
4. Drain your boiled pasta and add quickly to the mix in Step 3. Transfer to a plate and top with black pepper and parsley.

Story Behind this Recipe

I'm not fond of meat, so I substituted salmon flakes for bacon in this carbonara.
Using sliced cheese for cream sauce is a convenient solution I often use when I don't have powered cheese, lol.
