Put the Wei-pa in the mug, then add the milk until the mug is 1/3 full. Microwave for 20 seconds and then mix.
Add more milk until the cup is 80% full, then microwave again. You can use the milk setting or set it manually to 2 minutes.
When it has warmed, mix it and add the toppings. It's nice with sesame seeds and black pepper. It's even better with green onions.
I tried making it with soy milk. It was rich, creamy and delicious. It was bitter-tasting when I added too many green onions. I should have soaked them in water first.
Story Behind this Recipe
I was feeling hungry, but it was too much of a hassle to cook anything. This soup leaves few items to wash up and it was surprisingly tasty.
Heat it to your preferred temperature. I wash one green onion stalk, and cut it up with kitchen scissors directly over the cup in Step 3. It might be fine to add and heat all the milk at once, but I don't like the way it goes lumpy, and I'm not so keen on very hot drinks, so I add it in two batches.
